Bosses´s State Machine
One of the things I like to do in games is bosses. Programming a small state machine for is an interesting challenge. I have had many good examples in classic games and in the various MMOs I played.
Right now I'm working on 3 bosses for Orcleader and each of them has their own challenging behavior. Unlike of mobs, a boss must have at least 3 different states and this must vary according to the progress of the fight.
My goal is to finish in this I sprint 2 bosses and leave the final boss for the next weekly sprint. There are some interesting challenges right now, since Orcleader is a strategic game and dungeons are one way to implement more in-game action.
Well ... Let's work! Today, there should be an alpha build released. Stay tuned!
